I decided to stem split 1009 in Logic Pro and import it into Ableton.
I had a hard time finding information about how to do this, but I decided the first step for what I’m doing is to successfully control Ableton’s parameters with MaxMSP. In my plan, Arduino talks to Max, and Max talks to Ableton.
First, I decided to focus on getting Max and Ableton to talk to each other. It was really hard to find information on how to do this. I used a tutorial to make a MIDI effect on an Ableton Operator synth track, and controlled the parameter with a knob from Max for Live.
